NZUS Council Chair Rosemary Banks has been reappointed as New Zealand’s Ambassador to the United States.

Ms Banks previously held the role from 2018 to 2022. The appointment will begin at the start of June 2024.

Ms Banks has been key to the Council as chair and we thank her for all she has done to strengthen the Council as well as the relationship between New Zealand and the United States. We look forward to continuing to work with her, albeit from a longer distance, and wish her all the very best in her new role.
